Sundays @ 10:30am
We meet each Sunday morning to worship and share God’s love with one another through scripture, preaching and music.
Our services are lively and interactive, and we are a relaxed and ‘informal’ church, where everyone can enjoy being part of a wide, friendly community.
With contemporary worship and some traditional hymns, our live worship group lead a vast variety of songs for all generations, from ‘Be Thou My Vision’ to ‘Broken Vessels’, people of all ages can engage in praise and song suited to them.
Prayer & Praise @ 6:30pm
Our new ‘Prayer & Praise’ evening services are heavily worship-focused, with the service guided by a prayer theme for the evening. We’re excited about this new way to connect with God, and we hope this new, more informal service style will enable people to feel more engaged in the church.
There is only one ‘Prayer & Praise’ service each month – mostly on the second Sunday. Upcoming dates are listed below. There is no Prayer & Praise service in July or August.
- Sunday 9 September 2018 @ 6:30pm
- Sunday 14 October 2018 @ 6:30pm
- Sunday 11 November 2018 @ 6:30pm
- Sunday 9 December 2018 @ 6:30pm (Provisional)
Sunday Groups for Children & Youth
There will be a time during the Sunday service where children and young people will be invited to leave the main worship hall to go to one of the Sunday morning groups.
Through these, young people can learn about God’s work in a way suited to them – through activity, fun, games and Bible stories. The groups are Creche (0-3 years), Causeway Kids (4-11 years), and Hype (11-18 years). Shortly after the start of the service, the children will depart with their group leaders and go to the schoolroom.
Family Services (1st Sunday) @ 10:30am
On the first Sunday of each month we hold a special family service, where the children & youth join the adults in the main worship hall for the entire service, for an action-packed, interactive, game-filled service where God’s message is brought to people of all ages through challenges and activities.
Current Preaching Series: None Like Him
Over the next few months we are going to be looking into the oldest stories in the Bible: the characters found in the book of Genesis. We’ll be seeing how even though they lived a very different time and culture many of the struggles they had are ones similar to those we have today. Yet more importantly the amazing God we read about from all those years ago is still the same amazing God that we can know today.
Whatever your age, height, gender, eye colour or running ability, we’d love to have you join us for any of our Sunday Services, or activities and groups throughout the week.
