This Christmas our giving campaign is for ‘Cry in the Dark’. This year, they have asked for toiletry bags for young adults with learning disabilities.
These toiletry bags will be given out at an institution in Romania run by the state that cannot provide these resources themselves as it is underfunded and poorly supported.
If you can, please supply in a zip-lock or draw-string bag:
- A toothbrush and toothpaste
- Shower gel and shampoo
- Moisturiser
- A flannel or sponge
In addition, you can choose to supply:
- Deodorant
- Perfume
- Lip salve
- Talcum powder
- A hairbrush
- A pocket/folding mirror
If you are donating, please remember to bring these bags to the church for the all-age service on Sunday 4th November 2018. During that week, we’ll be transporting all of the donations to Cry in the Dark so they can be sent to Romania.
