September update: Coronavirus

As you will be aware, our church buildings have been closed since the COVID-19 lockdown in March. Over the summer period, we said that the church leadership would review the closure of the church site in September.

The church leadership met recently to discuss this matter.

Cases for COVID-19 are increasingly rapidly, and in light of this, the leadership were unanimous that the buildings should remain closed for church activities at the present time.

It is with a degree of sadness and frustration that we have made this decision, for we all are desperately missing meeting ‘in the usual way’ together as church body, as well as partaking in the many things we used to do together.

We all firmly felt that the very best way we can serve the church and the community at this time is to leave the building closed. We are, however, continuing with our preparations to open the building so that when the time comes, and it safe to do so, we will be able to respond quickly.

We are actively pursuing further ways we can meet together online in addition to our Sunday services.

We are thankful for, and would appreciate, your continued prayers for wisdom for the leadership team at the moment.
