New Wine into Old Wineskins

Preacher:
Passage: Luke 5:33-39

Join us this Sunday morning as we look together at 'new wine into old wineskins' with regional minister Rev. Nick Lear. He looks at Jesus' parable, explaining what it means to us today. In a time where people talk about a 'new normal', for Jesus, new is normal. The parables talk both about our society, and also about us as individuals. Nick also looks at how churches should apply Jesus' teaching in the parable - making sure Jesus is inserted into all that churches do. Discipleship happens where God places us, even if we can't go far. Right now, this might be about discipling our neighbours, or making new connections as a church.

Favourite song

This morning we speak to Alison, whose favourite song is Wonderful Grace written by John Pantry.

It's absolutely great hearing from you, discovering things you've been doing, and sharing your encouragement. We would love for you to continue to send in pictures, tell us what you've been up to and learn of the ways God has been speaking to and encouraging you. We'd also like to share these to help encourage others at this difficult time. There's more information about how you can share this with us on our website.
